Veteran Memorial Options
The Veteran Administration will provide qualified veterans a memorial of your choice at no cost to the family. The options are a flat bronze plaque (24" x 12"), a flat granite marker (24" x 12") or an upright memorial made of granite or marble. One NOTE : The bronze plaque does not come with the granite base that is bolted under the bronze. Seaside Memorials has those granite bases in stock, so give us a call for information. The VA also does not pay for the installation of the memorial in the cemetery, so we can also help you with that process. In order to receive the memorial you will need to provide to the VA your DD-214 form along with the VA memorial order form. We have examples of those below. If you contract Seaside Memorials to do the installation then we will submit the forms to the VA for you at no cost.
