How to get started ?
Greetings, I will explain the steps involved in placing a memorial order for your loved one. Please keep in mind that every memorial is unique in its own way. Whether you are purchasing a traditional flat marker or a fully custom monument, your memorial will have unique qualities. Every memorial has its own size, shape, color, finishes, and engraving (designs & lettering). I will go into detail on all of those options so you have a better understanding on how it all comes together. Some families have already had experience with this process and for others it is their first time, either way we will guide you through the process.
Step 1. Initial contact with the family via phone, email or in person.
Step 2. We then exchange information via phone, email or in person about your memorial needs which allows us to give you an estimated price quote.
Step 3. If the family approves the price quote, then we send them some paperwork which allows them to make a deposit and start the proof process.

The Process !
When we receive a deposit from the family we will send them a receipt for their records.
Next we send our memorial suppliers (granite, bronze, marble, ceramic portraits) all the details so a proof can be created.
(PROOF EXAMPLES ARE SHOWN BELOW)
THE DETAILS :
1. SIZE : These are the measurements needed to determine how long, how wide or how tall the memorial will be.
2. SHAPE : Some memorials are flat and others stand upright while others are slanted or beveled. The proof will show which shape you have chosen.
3. COLOR : Based on the information we collected from the family we pass the color choice(s) on to our supplier. The proof will have the granite color listed on it.
4. FINISHES : All memorials have finishes but some have more than one. Some examples are polished, steeled and frosted. The proof will list the different finishes of the memorial.
5. ENGRAVING : The proof will show all the engraving which includes all the lettering and designs that were chosen by the family. Many times we will go through multiple proofs to get the memorial exactly how the family wants it. There is no extra charge for multiple proofs.
6. PROOF APPROVAL : Once the proof process is completed we ask that the family to sign & date the proof. Then when we receive the signed proof we will forward the approved proof to our granite quarry or bronze foundry. This is when the memorial will be placed into production.
7. SHIPPING : After the memorial is completed it will then be crated and shipped by truck freight to our location. Truck freight is the least expensive way to have the memorial delivered due to its size and weight.
8. INSTALLATION : We your memorial is delivered we then make room in our schedule to have your memorial installed in the cemetery. We will contact the cemetery representative to have them mark the space in the cemetery. This ensures that the memorial is placed in the correct location. Some memorials require a concrete foundation to be placed underneath the memorial. Our installers will complete the entire process from beginning to end in a professional and clean manner.
9. THE LAST STEP : After the installation is completed we will take a photo of the memorial and email it to you so you have confirmation that it has been completed. This also allows you to share the photo with others that may live out town.
